After having searched in different places the brahmana Vidyapati reached a district whose inhabitants where of a non Arian type, named sabara. Here he stayed in the house of one of the inhabitants named Visvasu. When Vidyapati reached the house, the owner of it was not there. But his daughter Lalita was. After a short time though, Visvasu arrived and showed his daughter how she should offer all hospitality and all what is necessary to their brahmana guest. Vidypati stayed for several months, and later on the request of the sabara, he married his daughter Lalita.
